		<description><![CDATA[I worked in Calif. as a case manager with developmentally disabled persons between 1976 - 2000, in the regional center system.  During this time the movement to register developmentally disabled adults for the vote gained momentum.  I was always suspicious that some of these people could be unduly influenced to vote for the candidate preferred by their &quot;helper,&quot; be it a residential or day program staff member, family member, or other person.  I support the right to vote of any person who understands the process and can make a choice, but I do not support the right of others to use anyone&#039;s vote to support their candidate.]]></description>
